The fluidfreeride MANTIS electric scooter is designed for the demanding rider who wants it all: Swift inner city commutes with strong acceleration, excellent trail performance for those fun weekend rides, large batteries to master up to 50 miles between charges, and still allows carrying in one hand.

With 65 pounds this scooter is one of the lightest in its class. It folds down easily and is still portable, despite its strong performance.

The two powerful brushless 60V 1000W motors deliver fun acceleration and climb up to 30% inclines with ease. Ride in single motor mode up to 30 mph while conserving your battery or switch on the second motor for extra acceleration and 40 mph top speed.

The front and rear advanced swing arm spring suspension delivers a smooth ride on any terrain. Ride over grass or on dirt trails, jump a curb in the city, this 40 mph electric scooter can handle pretty much any reasonable ground condition.

Dual semi-hydraulic disc brakes in the base version and full hydraulic brakes in the PRO version provide full control during your ride. The advanced display/throttle combination allows configuration of speed limit, cruise control and regenerative braking strength. The PRO version with Minimotors display also features motor torque adjustments and ABS.

2 front and rear LEDs and the bright lateral LED strip will ensure you will be seen at night. We recommend an attachable headlight for longer rides at night.

Great speed, poor build

when I recieved my Mantis I was so excited, I read great reviews amd expected a sturdy high performance scooter. The first thing I noticed was that the rear wheel made a scraping sound when it spun and after less than 28 miles the rear tire flattened mid ride while I was commuting home. The speed and pick up are wonderful, the shocks are great
But it feels like a beta version of a product, not the one that should be sold for nearly 2k. It didnt come with a replacement innertube and the website is sold out. So Im just SOL.

Ride the Mantis or fix it first

The Mantis started when i saw it online before i bought it. I waited for it to be delivered and on the day it arrived. The tire got a flat. Fixing the flat was difficult because the tube's valve was stuck in the rim. Then it was the battery not charging. I spent more time fixing it than i do riding it. Mostly because i couldnt reach the valve to air the tire up. I still havent figured out if its the charger or the battery that is not working. The first day! Since ive bought it the day i got it in the mail, ive ridden it a few times. After that day its been difficult to fix up enough to ride. As of now its sitting waiting to be fixed.

Excellent scooter, excellent company

I have had my Mantis Pro now for many months. I wanted to get many hours and miles (over 500 miles!) on it before providing my review. That's what really matters to me is not day 1 or even 7, satisfaction. First off, nothing at all has diminished with this scooter. The battery life, acceleration, top speed, build quality, and ride quality all remain exactly the same as the first day I rode. The suspension remains just as good too. This is important to note as I am a 230lbs rider. I love jumping off curbs too. I have 4 kids and they too have some scooters from Fluid Free Ride (and others I will not name). We love riding together as a family and have spent some really high quality time together. Also, to note my satisfaction with Fluid Free Ride... My first Mantis was faulty, after about 20 miles. So much so, it was certainly not field serviceable. It was super quick and super easy to convince Fluid Free Ride of this. They quickly got me a return shipping label via email. They also let me know that if I provided a photo of the FedEx drop off or pick up receipt, they would immediately ship me my replacement. They even allowed me to purchase the upgraded Pro version in this warrant exchange. Can't say enough about the scooter and the company. Thanks and happy riding folks!
